4D ultrasound techniques enable the evaluation of complex anatomical structures like valves and wall motion in a way never seen before. In adult and pediatric cardiology, realistic representation of cardiovascular anatomy can be evaluated and documented. Emageon and TomTec entered into a cooperation agreement to make 4D Echo more accessible and to integrate 4D Echo applications in the clinical workflow. TomTec’s product portfolio for 4D Echo is now fully integrated in the Emageon HeartSuite to easily access 4D data and to distribute the results within the hospital.
