Off-site storage management allows you to leverage prior investments in storage technology and saves capital dollars for other mission-critical needs. Emageon offers three off-site storage solutions to fit any need: NearLine, Basic and Recovery.
Enterprise Off-Site Storage Options:
- NearLine - The archiving and distribution of all medical images stored in the on-site cache are integrated with the off-site LTA (Long-Term Archive) and near-line accessible on RAID and Spinning Disk located in mirrored data centers that provide permanent storage of all studies
- Basic – offers you a solution that benefits from the added scalability and protection of an off-site LTA without the added expense of mirrored off-site storage
- Recovery - secondary off-site archive utilized for image retrieval during a “declared event”, including scheduled downtime and disasters
